Paul started in the building business, while in high school, working odd jobs for a homebuilder that attended the church where his Dad preached. Starting at the end of a broom, he took an interest in the process, and immediately became a student of the “how” and the “why” of residential construction.

After leaving Abilene Christian University (it was “college” then!) in 1974, he needed to find a job that would support his wife, Debbie, and a baby girl named Jana, so he took up the work that he loved, his art — residential construction! Still building today, Paul currently custom builds in all price ranges and takes special care of each and every job. He began with moderately priced spec housing in the South Garland market, then quickly moved up. He moved to the oil patch in Midland, Texas, and while there met a developer from Dallas. From him he learned the development process.

When the oil bust of the late 80’s hit, Paul returned with his wife and two daughters, Jana and Melissa, to Fairview, Texas, where he and a partner developed Ascot Heath, the first “concrete street” subdivision in Fairview. Since then, he has developed The Woods of Ascot Heath and Paul’s Park in Fairview, Tokalaun Park & Estuary in Lucas, The Commons of Camden in Collin County, and he is currently developing a 10 acre site, gated, landscaped entry way, private concrete subdivision in McKinney called Paradise Ranch. Other future developments on the horizon include Driscoll Hill in Van Alstyne.

In 2002, his daughter, Jana, suggested that he add residential brokerage to his palette. Having held a broker’s license since 1983, Paul and Jana opened the Real Estate doors to the public with the intent to provide the same level of service in the brokerage field that is Paul’s signature in homebuilding. Paul believes in surrounding himself with the very best people, and he quickly structured that business for success by acquiring the services of the best people in that market. As has always been the case, the simple formula of “best people”, “honest, hard work” and “dogged determination” has led Paul Billingsly Realtors to becoming the fastest growing real estate brokerage business in Fairview, Lucas, and Parker.

While loving his family most, wife Debbie, daughters Jana and Melissa, grandsons Alex, Jordan, Connor, Major and granddaughter Lila Blue, he also truly loves what he does everyday...and it shows!

JANA ADKINS

“I guess you could say that it was inevitable that I ended up in the building/real estate business like my “dear old dad”. I have been around it my entire life! We moved to the Allen/Fairview area when I was only 11 years old. I have watched the area grow from just a small, country town into a really nice place to live.”

Jana is a graduate of Tyler Junior College with a degree in Dental Hygiene. Having worked as a dental hygienist since 1997, she has acquired the ability to make people feel at ease in situations that might otherwise be a little “uncomfortable”. Jana decided to go back to school and get her real estate license and begin learning the family business. Having lived in Fairview almost all of her life, she definitely knows the area, and everything about the great Lovejoy School District. She is also, an Allen High School graduate, class of 1991.

Jana, and her husband Brent, keep themselves busy raising their three sons, Alex, Jordan and Connor who are all students in the Lovejoy ISD. They live in Fairview and attend the Greenville Oaks Church of Christ.

KIM STACKHOUSE

Kim’s home building career began over 14 years ago. She has dabbled in many of the facets of the building process, everything from interior/lighting design, granite & marble sales, new home sales, and in recent years land development, real estate and acreage sales. She has a passion for helping people mold their dreams into reality.

Kim started out as a design consultant for several builders in the DFW Metroplex. From there she was given the opportunity to work on many model homes. She has also been a part of a family owned design company which led her into starting her own business, Stackhouse Designs. She is a Certified Lighting Designer with the American Lighting Association (ALA) since 2003. Her background in new home construction sales combined with her love of interior/lighting design has made her an asset to over 80 builder accounts she has worked with. Many of her former projects both in commercial and residential are in the Ft. Worth and surrounding areas.

Kim’s love of the “country setting” is what attracted her family to Collin County in 2005. While seeking job opportunities in the area she came into contact with a land developer and realized the expanse of her career could go into acreage sales as well. This jump started her into receiving her real estate license where she has specialized in land sales. With the many experiences Kim has had in her career she is a much sought after professional who gives consistent custom care to her clients. She can help them to visualize the whole picture, literally from the ground up. She is very in tune to her clients need to feel at ease and at home.

Kim currently resides in Melissa, TX with her husband Casey and her two lovely children Colton and Camryn. Her son attends North Texas Christian Academy in McKinney, TX. They attend First Baptist Church in Melissa.
